Headfirst Baseball Academy is a year round travel baseball organization for Lower Division ages 8U-14U and an Upper Division for High School and College age baseball players. Headfirst was started 16 years ago and have been developing players to be champions on and off the field. Many have gone on to play college baseball and drafted into the MLB. The mission of the Bercovich Baseball Foundation is to create a fraternal organization where young baseball players can be mentored through the game of baseball and “give back” by helping to mentor younger players. The foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and is designed to help with home field improvements/costs and to help players with financial hardships. The foundation provides an opportunity for the community and former players to give back to the younger generation of student athletes through donations, coming to speak to young players, professional connections, and coaching.
All applications will be reviewed and scholarships will be granted based on the board's review of the application and the funds available.
